Am having trouble getting the bursary at the moment, it's being a dick trying to set the mandate up and I'm due a tuition. If I make it wait too long, my credit rating is screwed. 8(!

Asterix and the Big Fight was a complete disappointment. They've screwed the whole thing with that crappy, halfhearted American dub. Just because it isn't Japanese doesn't mean you should do a crappy dubbing job, people! 8( Grrrrrr. My childhood's been ruined. *sob* It's one thing to redub for legal reasons, it's another to do a fucking tits-awful job of it! ;_; At least Asterix and Cleopatra remained untouched. Cheesy as the dubbing was at times, I thought it was legendary. :'D Very, very memorable. When 'iced arsenic cake' rang through the animation room it all came flooding back

Yeah, I'm quite a fan. My brother introduced me to the franchise years ago. It's been dying out as of late, I think

F.f.f.f.f.ffffff. I can't get enough of Frasier. This series is simply stupendous :'D It may be a little dated, but hell! It's sharp, snappy, and just downright awesome.

Funny. I'm reading into becoming an animation writer, even though I'm not a writer... I'm an animator. That's this course for you! 8) Seriously I wouldn't mind just being a 'grunt animator' who does all the drawing work she's told to do, analysing models and getting them just right, and just doing a bang-up job. I just want to use this course to learn the how-to's. Right now though, I can barely even do perspective drawings right. Try as I may, I always seriously screw up one aspect of it or another.

Some things just feel.. missing.. at times. Like I'm not really pushing myself to be my best. I've picked up a little though, from learning that I don't have to present my stuff today, it was in fact NEXT MONTH!! I must have got my dates mixed up. Dx lawl...

ummm... I've had a strong yearning for cats lately. But we couldn't even have room for any, let alone be allowed them!
It's strange, I've always been a dog person, but now I'm absolutely falling in love with cats. ;3; (not in that way, furry sickos ). I've been reading up on them a -lot-, thanks to Chris' book on cats (he's a big cat fan. In fact it was his mum's cat- Ziggy- that made me start to really want them. D: )

It's getting to a point where we're going to the pet shop every other day to just look at the kittens,'awwww'ing at them. So far two of them have just about broken my heart- the sad, lonely white kitten with the haphazard black spots (whom I think got a home, I hope anyway) and the one who didn't get on with his roommate, desperately meowing at people from behind the glass. I couldn't hear said meows. Poor rejected cat.. All the others were quite contented, mostly sleeping. ..........There, I've let it out. Have at you!

That's all really, I started this tag thing on the computer at uni, it's saved in a txt. Maybe I'll finish it soon xD;;....

Nothing much to say here really. D8 I've still got shitloads to do, and very little motivation with which to do it... eeeehh. I'm gonna be so screwed, it's upsetting, sorry if I'm wimping it out on my own. Once I get going I don't feel quite so pathetic, but you know the deal.

I'm itching to get a bigger place, I mean come on, there's no WAY that we should be paying that much rent for a tiny effing room. Furnished or not, I need SPACE. Hell, I can't even have my animation desk anywhere, or even a second washing rack without a serious tripping hazard. I'm having enough trouble with the washing as it is, coupled with the washing up racking up faster than I can spill water on the floor, and the big bin outside filling up too fast and nowhere to put our rubbish 8( And stuff overflowing all over the place a mere day or two after a thorough tidy. Egads, why do I even bother?!!

It's a roof over our heads- a nice one, at that- but come on.

On the upside, we now has mobile internet, which is a treat because now we no longer have to trek to the library to check things/download stuff! So chew on that, grumpy old library receptionist. Limited as it is, it at least offers us that. :3


Now I'll be a good girl and get to uni.

Hm, what to say?

Life's good and good, some things are pissing me off though. Not least because it's impossible to get a job around here. There's nothing even AVAILABLE according to that stupid computer at the Job Centre. Not only that, but Jobseeker's is out of the question, because I apparently am 'not available for work' while being a fulltime student. Suck my tits. MANY students work, do they not seem to understand this?!

I'm scared about the water and lekkie bill dealio- to be honest, the landlord wasn't 100% helpful about it. For some reason, it fell on OUR shoulders to change the details to match ours, and there isn't an option for what the landlord's instructions tell us. I tried phoning them, drew a total blank and chickened out before the sales/whatever person could talk to us. This was.. what, three weeks ago? Two rents have passed.

Oh, and NEVER GO TO NAZ'S (sorry, got the name wrong) RESTARAUNT, ANY SUNDERLAND PEOPLE. It looks very classy, but as Dahlia Hawthorne proved by existing- looks deceive. Their Tikka Massala was the ONLY ONE to ever, ever, EVER fail me, and believe me, I've had so many. Not only did it fail- I could barely even eat two spoons of it. It was THAT bad. The rice was shit, and they charge EXTRA for it. The service was horrid, the waitress seemed like she wouldn't be out of place as a funeral director. I've never been to a more depressing dive in my whole life. And the worst thing about it, the crowning turd in the waterpipe- they overcharge. For about that much, I could buy FOUR NIGHTS worth of curries between us at Iceland, and a few 2 litre bottles of Bar(sp?) Cola. Even the bottles of Coke from Bristol Temple Meads station were less expensive than the TINY GLASS they serve you at this hellhole.

According to Chris, their Vindaloo was okay, though. But if you ask me, the cons far outweigh that one pro.

So yeah, Frankie and Benny's is on the cards next time for a treat-out! Maybe for our birthdays.

As you can guess by my title, I can't get enough of Raz's victory dance. Psychonauts is a blast!

Honestly though, like them or not, lately the stuff has been crap. But what use is it preaching? I don't, that's for sure. I just hope that some people might.. you know, get it. The gameplay of old far surpasses the new, and it can continue to do so if done right. Or rather... they can pick up from where it left off in 1994/thereabouts.

If you like the new stuff, fair do's. I'm not going to question it. But you can't deny that it's because of us oldies that the move is being made by a 'roject Needlemouse' to bring what made it good back, and dispense with all preconceptions and complications of the franchise.

I don't even mind if Chao don't come back, although it'd be a nice extra thing IMO. IF THEY DO IT RIGHT. They could do with at least a cameo appearance, really. Like at the end of the level, in the Special Stage, or even on one of the menus. They could even be one of those mood things that tell you 'Good Job!' or 'Too Bad!'.

I really believe that if they confer properly with Nintendo and amongst themselves, and with older Sonic team members.. they'd be able to make something like this work.

Right now, I'm just doing a bit of berry-farming and Battle Tower on Platinum. I might actually sort out the EV stats of my Pokemon properly (you see, it's not easy to concentrate on those when you're faced with random Trainers and random kinds of Pokemon D: So I'm growing Berries that are going to reset them). And some drawings, you might see later. Just drawn Azelf as far as computer's concerned, his head's a bugger though!
